FILM

When I was in the fourth grade I made my first fiction film in my friends backyard using a 8mm consumer camera.  We took our Star Wars action figures and recreated the movie one frame at a time.  I made three more films that IÕll probably never see again but they had a major impact on my life.  They hooked me on filmmaking.  25 years later IÕm at it again but this time I sorta know what IÕm doing.

MTV SPOOF

I did not win, obviously, but I had a blast making this.  I basically replaced Antonio Banderas with yours truly.  Keep an open mind and have fun watching.

Post House (trailer), Post House (5 min cutdown), Post House(35 min)

What happens when the worldÕs worst production house lands a multimillion-dollar ad campaign?  You have your choice of watching the trailer, a 5 min version, or the whole thing.  I co-wrote, co-directed, produced, edited, composed the music, and even starred in this pilot sitcom shot with the Sony FW900 HDCAM camera.  The runtime of the show is 35 minutes.  The trailer is 1:00. So far Post House has been screened at four festivals.

Street Pong

This 6-minute film was selected as a finalist in the 2nd annual Asian Film Festival sponsored by MTV in New York.  If you like mockumentaries youÕll love Street Pong.  ItÕs Fight Club meets Ping-Pong. I co-produced, edited, shot, and played Johnny Pong in this film. (30.3MB)

SHA

SHA is the agency Super Heroes go to for representation.  Episode 1 introduces us to the agents and one of their main clients, Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a the Hulk a.k.a me. I finished this film on the DS Nitris. TRT 3:20(40.6MB)

Almost Even

This 5 min short was shot using Super 16mm, 16mm, and mini dv at 24p.  It was a group project at American University.  I wrote the script with certain limitations due to the class assignment.  It basically had to be in 4 specific locations and couldnÕt have more than 2 actors in each scene and the actors or characters had to be different in each scene.  I ended up posting the end product on the DS Nitris and had to match all the footage using color correction and various film effects.  I also composed the music and did audio.  Let me know if you can figure out the story line.
