MUSIC
I started composing when I was 16. Music plays a big role in how I edit and how I put a video
together. Every so often I get the
chance to compose the music for a video or film and it has always been a very
fulfilling experience.

Post House
(trailer), Post House (5 min cutdown), Post House(35 min)
What happens when the worldÕs
worst production house lands a multimillion-dollar ad campaign? You have your choice of watching the
trailer, a 5 min version, or the whole thing. I co-wrote, co-directed, produced, edited, composed the
music, and even starred in this pilot sitcom shot with the Sony FW900 HDCAM
camera. The runtime of the show is
35 minutes. The trailer is 1:00.
So far Post House has been screened at four festivals. For just the music scroll down.
Excara – Even though
this company no longer exists, I keep them alive with this little ditty. I composed the music for this piece.
Port of
Baltimore-1, POB-2 – IÕm told this piece still plays down on
the dock in some make shift touch screen monitor on the Port of Baltimore. They really should update that
thing. For the time it was really
cool, cutting edge, shakadelic!
Now itÕs just another piece I edited and composed the music for.
Fort Lewis – I produced this video right after I got out of the Army. I did nearly everything on this command
video including shooting, producing, editing, and music composition. Produced in 2001.
Soldiers Magazine Spots
The following spots
were created in a short amount of time once a month for Soldiers Magazine. The idea was to make a donut that would
last at least a few months. I
produced, wrote, edited, composed the music, and did all graphics for these
spots.
Soldiers
Magazine 1, Soldiers Magazine 2, Soldiers Magazine 3, Soldiers Magazine 4, Soldiers Magazine 5,
Soldiers Magazine 6, Soldiers Magazine 7, Take a Little Time, Jingle Bell Rock
ORIGINAL
POP COMPOSITIONS
The High
Voltage Shuffle is from my pilot sitcom, Post House. Gary Potterfield wrote the lyrics and I put them to music
and performed the vocals. You may
be asking why we wrote this song.
Well, since it was going to cost about $25k to get the rights to the
ÒElectric SlideÓ we said, ÒScrew that.Ó
And wrote this song instead of forking out the doe neither of us had.
From 1991-1998,
I wrote a bunch of pop tunes and these are a few of the better ones. I plan to start writing pop tunes
sometime in the near future, when I get some free time. So that will most likely be around
2010.
Between
1996-1999 while I was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska I produced a number of
local artists. This is one group
was called, Red. I co-wrote the
music and produced the tracks while they supplied their pipes and the lyrics. They kind have that EnVogue sound. The rap in the middle is another artist
I produced a number of songs for.
So, where are they today?
If you hear from them let them know where I am.
RAP
You_Don't_Live_Through_These_Eyes(Zany
H)
I
worked with a rapper named Zany Hindividual on the above songs while stationed
in Alaska from 1996-1999. We made
a total of 8 songs in that time. I
produced and wrote the music for these tracks.
I worked with a teen named Pete on this rap song. The amazing thing about this rap song
is that Pete has muscular dystrophy and does not have control of his body. HeÕs was an amazing teen and now heÕs
an amazing adult. I wish I had
done more songs with Pete. Be wary
this song is NC17! I produced and
wrote the music for Pete.
I canÕt even remember this rappers name. He may say it in the song. I worked with these guys over a two weeks period on this
song. ItÕs a bit more hardcore
than I had hoped. ItÕs more than
NC17, itÕs like NC35 or something.
I did write the music and produce this song though.
ALT
ROCK
I think Continuing Madness was the name of the band and not this
song. These guys were in the Army
and just wanted to record a song with me.
We recorded this piece in the barracks on an 8-track Fostex digital
recorder. I went back and synced
up some midi tracks and sound effects to give this song a little more
production value. ItÕs not my bag
but I like how it turned out.
INSTRUMENTAL
THE
MUSIC OF POST HOUSE(the sitcom)
Check out the
instrumental tunes I created in addition to The High Voltage Shuffle. We would have hired a composer for the
pilot, but again that would of cost us.
So I opened up my studio, hankered down, and put a few decent, if not
hip, pieces of music together. I
actually had a blast doing it.
These
are just a few instrumental pieces I put together over the last 12 years or so.
